SoOo I took some more pictures of my messed up bite, I thought I would load those up. Wednesday I go to the Oral Surgeon for my pre op visit and then Friday I have an orthodontist appointment, I'm wondering if they will put the bands on.....
Getting really nervous for surgery, mostly the pain and blood....
Anyway I don'
t have much to say...here are the pictures.
No catheter! Thank goodness! However, I did have to go pretty badly when I woke up, and so I had to use a bed pan... but at that point I wasn't thinking clearly enough to be embarrassed! lol. And the nurse knew right away what I was trying to say. So no worries.
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness, it was so worth it. Dr. Rovner laughed a bit ago and said I was going to be his spokesperson for those who are relucant. Seriously though, my bite was very goofed up, and I was taking tons of ibuprofen and tylenol daily and I rarely have to do that. As Dr. Burton pointed out... I'm still female and will still have headaches, but not nearly as bad. If I had to do it all over again, I would. Honestly, it isn't the most fun I've ever had. But it was worth it. You'll be happy you did it. My only regret... wishing I had done it the first time it was suggested when I was a teenager! Please feel free to keep asking me questions. Maybe I should even post a post-braces pic! I've been lazy with the blog lately. my email address is: nowamfound@gmail.com - don't hesistate to send me messages! I'm a total dental nerd, so I love talking about the whole experience!
